Exchanging Perspectives

In an effort to provide unique leadership development opportunities to our members, IRC has been pursuing avenues for them to sit down with visionary campus leaders in order to exchange perspectives on work, life, and personal development.
.
Overall, the purpose of the initiative is to facilitate open and engaging dialogue between student and campus leaders alike, allowing each to inquire into the daily lives of the other. We hope that through this effort, those involved can be positively challenged and develop a greater understanding of inspiring individuals who lead markedly different lives.
.
We anticipate these conversations will take place over the course of an hour and a half with food provided by IRC. Each dialogue will have five members in addition to the President, and we’ll be prepared to ask engaging questions about the activities and interests the leader brings to the table. To begin each discussion, we’re asking that the campus leaders share their background and thoughts on a pertinent topic provided by the group prior to the meeting. Similarly, we would like to provide ample time for the campus leader to ask questions of the group, either related to their projects or more generally about their individual experiences and goals.
.
To exchange perspectives with Mike Giancola, Associate Vice Provost of Student Leadership and Engagement, on November 20th from 12:00 to 1:15 PM please complete this form.
.
Upcoming leaders include: Dr. Carson, Director of TH!NK, and Chancellor Woodson.
